Emergency Escape Glass (92cm x 59cm) - For Buses, Coaches, Minibuses

  • Fits on the roof of a vehicle - minibus, coach, motor home, campervan, horsebox, etc.
  • E43R Approved 4 mm toughened safety glass European Commission Directive 2001/92/EC Regulation No43 of the UN/ECE
  • Complies with health and safety regulations with regard to minimum area of opening of 400,000 square millimetres.
  • Full screen print for bonding directly on to the roof of the vehicle
  • Clear glass with dot fading screen print provides approximately 50% light transmission against the sun.
  • All edges of the glass are polished
  • Glass is curved slightly for curved roofs, however it is also flexible enough to fit flat roofed vehicles
  • Comes with internal bezel - mild steel black painted for internal use only
  • Fitting is easy if you know a bit about DIY
  • Dimensions - 92cm x 59cm

1. Silicone Sealant to fix glass to roof - special automotive sealant with very wide temperature range

2. Emergency Hammer and Torch Tool - for breaking automotive glass, with build in safety blade for cutting seat belt, built in torch including battery, a yellow light reflector and includes mounting bracket.

Coach Roof Hatches

We sell various sizes of Coach Roof Hatch / Roof Vent / Sun Roof. They are designed for a coach, van, 4x4, horsebox, mobile exhibition trailer, camper van, bus, minibus, race truck, HGV lorry or any vehicle, porta-cabin, enclosure, etc - where increased light and ventilation is needed but not at the expense of security.

Our Coach Roof Hatch provides a ventilation gap back, front or both - by way of a sprung scissor mechanism and when closed, the spring mechanism ensures the Roof Vent is fully sealed against the weather.

Our roof hatches are made of E43R 4mm toughened glass with black powder coated aluminium frame and screen printed with dot fading to reduce sun light glare and reduce heat.

We also have Wide Opening Roof Windows / Vents / Shooting Hatches - use where increased, access, light and ventilation is needed but not at the expense of security.
